One War directed by Vera Glagoleva has taken the grand prize of the 5th International Moslem Film Festival “Gold Minbar” that finished in Kazan on Sunday.
“The festival is amazingly responsive, and amazingly deer to us. Great thanks to the viewers. After the screening of the film one woman said: “As if I have found myself in my childhood”. It is the dearest thing that I heard, and it will always remain with me” – Vera Glagoleva said when receiving the prize.
The 5th V International Moslem Film Festival “Gold Minbar” took place in the capital of Tatarstan from September 30 to October 4. The members of the select committee had gone through 400 films from 67 countries. The competitive program included 36 works: 13 full-length feature films, 14 documentary and nine short-length films.
