Higher fees for blue lights

Legislators plan to up the fee charged for unlawful installation of special blue lights on cars, seen as a part of the drive to crackdown on illegal use of privilege signs and violation of road safety rules.
       From now on, if you do not have the right to put a flashing blue light on the car, youll have to pay 2,500 roubles, or $0.89, against 1,000 before. If your car belongs to a legal entity the fee increases by 200 times to 500,000 roubles, or $17,900.
