Another group of petroglyphs, i.e. ancient rock pictures created thousands of years ago, have been discovered in Karelia.
      
      A stone flag with four previously unknown petroglyphs has been discovered on the eastern coast of Lake Onega on Cape Peri Nos. They are the last missing part of the huge stone “iconostasis” including over a hundred of separate stone paintings.
      
      Last year on Peri Nos archeologists also found a stone flag with depictions, in particular, of a man’s anthropomorphic figure, two figurines in the scene of dancing or marching, as well as pictures of the Sun and the Moon.
