Scientists Expect Global Cooling to Start Soon

Predicted global climate warming can become global cooling in the foreseeable future, Russian meteorologists say.

Most common existing hypothesis is that during last 150 years Earths climate showed a strongly pronounced tendency to gradual warming. Mathematical modeling allows predicting that warming will continue. Some scientists vote for apocalyptical scenarios of adding 2-3 degrees Centigrade to mean temperature on our planet.

However, analysis of space and geophysical factors convinced some researchers that in three or four years global warming would change to slow cooling. Russian meteorologists believe that upcoming decades will bring us temperatures, common for seventies of the twentieth century.
