Beatles Monument to be Officially Open in Yekaterinburg

All you need is love: Russian love for the legendary Liverpool four will be eternized in a most official way on 23 May, at the official opening of the Beatles monument in Yekaterinburg.

“The official ceremony will help remove the mess – President of the Ural Beatles Club Vladimir Popov explained. On 18 October 2008 the main monumental composition was mounted on the place of the project, yet the opening ceremony has not yet occurred! In honour of the ceremonial unveiling the Ural Beatles Club is getting ready with the First Eurasian Festival “The Beatles on the border”, which is planned to be held on 22 to 24 May in Yekaterinburg. During the festival of various cover-bands an exhibition of albums, books and magazines on the Beatles subject matter will be held during the festival.
