On the 29th of April the Central Museum of Great Patriotic War, Moscow, opens the exhibition “Russian Orthodox Church during the Great Patriotic War”.
The exposition will present unique archive documents, photos, and items related to the living of the Russian Church in 1941 to 1945 and the activities of the Patriarchs Sergius and Alexis I of Moscow, as well as works of decorative and fine art.
A separate section of the exhibition will be dedicated to collaboration of the church and the army during the war.
