Production of Nano-Concrete Starts in St. Petersburg
Nanoconcrete

Scientists from St. Petersburg know how to produce high-quality concrete from low-quality cement.

Nano-modifiers help to put less cement into concrete mixture, keeping it durable, crack-resistant and comfortable in use. Innovations of Russian scientists make concrete cheaper.

Another modification results in a light concrete, weighing a half less than common concrete and showing high durability and heat resistant.

New light concrete has already been used during building a semi-cable-stayed bridge over the Volga river in the town of Kimry.
