Walt Disney set to buy Russian website for $4 million

Walt Disney is holding talks on acquisition of OOO Star Media, which runs Zvezdi.ru, the Russian most popular website covering international show business, reports the Kommersant newspaper.
      
      Earlier the owners of Zvesdi.ru invited Digital Sky Technologies, an Internet Investment group, to buy the website estimated at US$4 million then, but the deal fell through.
      
      The website may become the first Russian asset of the Walt Disney Company on the Russian market.
      
      Zevzdi.ru, run by OOO Star Media, covers show business news, shares video clips and music. 170-200 000 unique visitors is the everage daily statistics of the website.
