Writer Egor Radov Passes Away

The well-known Russian writer Egor Radov suddenly died, aged 46, on the night of 5th February in India.
      "My father had a very tragic fate. After my mother (the rock singer Umka - editor's note) he had two more beloved wives and both of them died. He could not get through the last loss - his well-beloved wife died five years ago" - the writer's son Aleskei Radov told to RIA Novosti.
      "Everybody knows that my father used to take heroin, yet a few years ago he managed to overcome the addiction. Certainly, drugs undermined his health" - added he. When asked about the creative legacy of his father, Aleksei answered: "The father wrote eleven novels; the last of them, "Uidi, uidi" (Go Away, Go Away) has not been published yet.
      Egor Radov (born on 28 February, 1962), the son of the publicist Georgy Radov and poetess Rimma Kazakova, is one of the remarkable representatives of postmodernism of the 1990s. among his readers he gained the reputation of "the new Burroughs".
