Actor Leonid Bronevoy Turns 80

On 17 December 2008 the merited actor of Lenkom Theatre and well-known film actor Leonid Sergeevich Bronevoy has turned 80.
      Presently Leonid Bronevoy is engaged in three of Lenkoms stage plays, namely The Seagull, Royal Games and Marriage. Besides, Mark Zakharov has started working on The Cherry Orchard, in which the veteran of stage is to play Firs.
      Apart from theatre Leonid Bronevoy was much into filming and on TV, where he played over 50 roles. In 2008 he won Nika Prize as the best supporting actor in Aleksei Popogrebskys picture Prostye veshchi (Simple Things) (2007). Back in 1976 he was honoured with the State Prize of the RSFSR for his role in Tatyana Lioznovas legendary TV series Seventeen Moments of Spring (Semnadtsat mgnoveniy vesny).
