Russia is invited to OPEC

Russia, Norway and Mexico should express solidarity with OPEC and join the organization to cut oil production, OPEC president Chakib Khelil said Tuesday, reports Reuters.

What we really want is for these countries to become members of OPEC," Khelil said.
Russian officials say they are preparing a cooperation agreement with OPEC that could be examined at the cartel's meeting this month in Algeria.

However, OPEC president claims, the three countries do not need any agreement to show they share the same goal, all they should do is a production cut.
