A group of component suppliers operating in Russia are set to build 7 plants to produce spare parts for Hyundai autos under St Petersburg. About 3-4 billion rubles will be invested in construction under the memorandum of understanding signed by the city authorities and the companies yesterday in St Petersburg.
      
      At the first stage capacity of each plant will amount to 150 000 components per year, then the companies plan to boost capacity up to 400 000 spare parts annually.
      
      The group is prepared to launch production in 2010 just after the completion of construction works. The construction site will be located close to Hyundai St Petersburg plant, which is being built at the moment.
