Rafael Correa, president of the Republic of Ecuador, has claimed in his weekly address that the relations with Russia are living through their best times.
      
      He says, the external Ecuador policy is reorienting to new countries. And first of all he means Russia which is turning into a superpower, it’s has a huge market and it’s government stands for rapprochement with Latin America.
      
      ‘The relations with Russia are living through their best times, and the most important thing now is to be sure that our nations will benefit from these relations,’ said Rafael Correa.
      
      This Wednesday, November 27, Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs met Ecuadorian President and his counterpart Maria Salvador. The politicians reached the agreements to develop cooperation in oil, gas, electric, hydro, nuclear energy spheres. The agreement on military cooperation was signed which will lead to contracts in this sphere.
      
      Ecuador is one of the principal Russia’s partners in Latin American continent.
