Time Travel in Museum of Moscow History

The permanent exposition of the Museum of Moscow History to be housed in the complex of Proviantsie Sklady (Provision Storehouses) will present the evolution of the city from the Middle Ages to the present day.
The visitors will enter a Muscovites mansion, craftsmen's (potter, gunsmith, and blacksmith) shops, drop in at some old shopping rows, a tavern, a communal flat, and even a flat in a Khrushchev building.
The funds of the museum located in several spots (St. John the Divine Church in Novaya Square, the Old English Yard, and others) count up to 1.2 million items. Some of them are going to remain in specialized departments, such as Museum of Moscow Archeology, and Christ the Saviour Cathedral. The other exhibits will be displayed in the major complex. So far the museum is able to demonstrate only 0.8 percent of its collections.
