The Moscow authorities confirm their plans for Eurovision 2009 song contest to take place in Moscow. The opening ceremony will be held on 9 May in Vorobyevy Hills, right in front of the Moscow State University main building. Semi-finals are scheduled for 12 and 14 May, while the final of the contest will take place in Gostiny Dvor, the centre of Moscow on 16 May.
Moscow public transport (Metro, buses and trams) operating schedule may be modified for several days to make tourists’ stay in city more comfortable.
