One of Russia's most popular internet brands, Rambler has won the 2008 Runet award for "Technology and Innovations" at the 5th annual Russian Internet Runet awards ceremony held last night at the Rossiya Concert Hall in Moscow.
      
      Rambler Media has won the Runet award for "Technology and Innovations" following the successful launch of numerous new products and services in 2008, including a new version of its popular homepage Rambler.ru. For the first time in 2008, Rambler attracted more than 40 million unique monthly users.
      
      The Runet Awards take place every year to recognize the contribution of Russian organizations to the development of the Russian internet space and the growth of IT and electronic communications in Russia.
