The town of Iskitim, located near Novosibirsk, hosts an unusual project of local hospital and “Intel” corporation – “Digital Clinic”.
      
      “Intel” provided the hospital with necessary hardware for equipping doctors’ workplaces. Automated control system will reduce queue time for patients and increase labour productivity of medical personnel.
      
      For instance, thanks to new equipment patients can now get their subsidized pharmaceuticals much easily than before.
      
      Prospects of the project are: automated process of patients’ appointments; digital filing; access to electronic encyclopedias and reference books, regulatory documents and medical standards; exchange of opinions between medics from different cities via Internet and etc.
      
      The project is expected to lay the basis for the unified and centralized control system for health care facilities.
