Stella Lines cancels ferry travels to St. Petersburg

Stella Lines company canceled ferry travels from Helsinki to St. Petersburg. Ferry travels were not popular among tourists. Due to the high ticket fees most tourists preferred traveling to Finland by car.

The company's statement says it will pay back the money for the tickets, however it will not refund hotel, visa, and other expenses.

Stella Lines' were the only ferries traveling between Helsinki and St. Petersburg. The ferry service was canceled in mid-90s and reopened only in August 2008.
