Russia and 5 CIS Countries Formed Air Navigation Service

Russia together with five CIS countries – Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan have established an international air navigation service Vostok aimed at strengthening the flights safety.
      
      According to the Russian authorities, the new service contract will allow the countries reduce the intense air traffic, the intervals between flights, and therefore – will reduce the flight time and ease the air traffic controllers` work. They have estimated that if one-hour flight on a Russian plane costs $US3000, saving 20 minutes will considerably reduce the airlines` expenses.
