On Wednesday Russian and Montenegrin Foreign Ministers singed an agreement to introduce visa free travel between the two countries, Russia's Foreign Ministry reported. Sergei Lavrov and Milan Rocen met during the 63rd UN General Assembly in New York.
The new visa regime will allow Russian tourists stay in Montenegro for up to 30 days, the same applies to Montenegrin travelers to this country.
Both ministers pointed to the dynamic Russian-Montenegrin relations and hoped for broader cooperation in trade and investments.
Lavrov said visa free travel will significantly boost the number of tourists visiting Russia and Montenegro.
