The republic of Montenegro beckons Russian developers: an elite town-club is being built not far from Budva by Mirax Group and Oleg Deripaska follows suit. The Russian tycoon plans to invest ˆ8.3 billion in a resort with yacht berths. Building the resort promises to become the first large-scale project of its kind performed by Russian developers abroad.
Among Deripaska’s partners, who will take part in the project, are Canada’s businessman Peter Munk (the head of Barrick Gold) and Sandor Demjan (the owner of Tri-Granit Company). The shares of the partners in the project have not been unveiled.
