Romanovs Return from Italy

Family photos of the last Russian Emperor are being exhibited in the History Museum of Yekaterinburg. The pictures from the family album are back after a journey around Italian cities.
The albums now represented at the exhibition The Romanovs. Return from Italy were collected by Anna Vyrubova, a maid of honour and close friend of Empress Aleksandra Fyodorovna.
These albums counted about three thousand shots from everyday life of the royal family. Six of the albums were brought away by Anna Vyrubova to Finland in 1920. In the 1960s the royal photo albums were found in the Yale University Library, the USA.
