Two weeks visa-free Vietnam for Russian tourists

Since January 2009 the Russians can enter Vietnam visa-free for less then 15 days regardless the purpose of visit.
      
      The decision to abolish visas for the Russian citizens was taken after Vietnamese Foreign Minister Pham Gia Khiem visit to Moscow last week, during which the Minister discussed cooperation in the economic, energy and mining spheres with Russian authorities.
      
      In 2008 the amount of Russian tourists to Vietnam has reached 70, 000 people, what makes 17% of the total number of tourists to this country.
      
      Recently Vietnam has introduce the same regulations for the tourists from Japan, South Korea, Denmark, Norway, Finland and Sweden.
