Gazprom shuts down gas pipeline to Europe

The Russian gas monopolist will shut down gas pipeline Yamal-Europe on the territory of Poland and Germany for planned repair. Gas supply will be stopped today, 2 September, at 4 p.m. Moscow time till 10 p.m. tomorrow, 3 September. Next 24 hours from 10 p.m. on 3 September to 10 p.m. on 4 September the pipeline's capacity will be halved to 50 million m3 instead of 100 million m3 per day.
      
      Gazprom promises to reroute gas flows to its European consumers via alternative pipelines, reports Prime Tass news agency.
