Vladimir Nabokovs last and unfinished novel Original of Laura will be published in Germany in September 2009.
      
      Alongside with the German edition there will appear a Russian one to be published in the Azbuka publishing house. In Germany the book will be published by the German publishing house Rowohlt.
      
      The writers son Dmitry Nabokov in spite of the will of his father to have this work burned ventured to promulgate the text 31 years after the authors death.
      
      The copyright for the Russian edition of Original of Laura will be given provided that the translator will be chosen by Dmitry Nabokov, who is very earnest about everything related to his fathers legacy and he has already quarreled with some influential literary critics and translators.
