In the Soviet epoch the Kaliningrad amber plant organized excursions for VIP guests. Today, after the 15-year break, the enterprise opens its doors for all willing to see amber extraction and processing.
      
      90% of the world amber reserves are situated on the territory of the plant which is the only enterprise in the world that has been extracting amber in the open industrial way since 1891.

Hello and greetings from Montana, USA: I have been polishing Dominican amber for many years, and am now interested in doing the same with Baltic amber. I go into the schools for no charge and help to educate youth about the history and properties (chemical and esoteric) of amber. I have been able to purchase the Dominican amber in fairly large quantites(10 Kilo). Do you have the ability to sell me rough amber in any substantial quantity? And at what price?
