Moscow to Go Deeper Underground by 2020

Currently, the share of the underground constructions in Moscow is 8% while many other city agglomerations use 20-25% of their underground space, which gives them stable development and comfortable existence.
      
      The Moscow authorities plan to increase the volume of underground construction by 15-20%. Underground space usage will allow to preserve the historical buildings and the nature complex. Supposedly, 80% of the warehouses will be situated underground, 70% of the parking, and 30% of the service sector organizations, trade and entertainment centres.
