In 2009 it is planned to finish reconstruction of the royal palace of Russian tsar Alexei Mikhailovich Romanov in Kolomenskoye Park of Moscow. For visitors the palace will open on the annual City Day celebrated at the first weekend of September.
The palace interior is expected to surprise visitors with its relative casualty instead of the traditionally pompous decoration of royal rooms. This year construction of the palace building will be completed and next year it is planned to start working on the interior. The palace will have the central heating, sewerage, and electricity.
The original palace was built in the middle of the 17th century. 100 years after the palace decayed and was completely dismantled except for the building basement.
