A new project implying construction of helicopter pads close to the Moscow Ring Road has been approved by the expert council at the Russian Ministry of Transportation.
According to the project, 4 helicopter ports for 250 aircrafts each, 12 helicopter pads designed for simultaneous landing and take off of 6 aircrafts will be constructed. Besides, it is planned to build a regional airport and 18 helicopter spots with filling stations along the projected Central Ring Road of the Moscow Region.
Experts say the implementation of the program will require 29.134 billion rubles ($1.229 billion) of investments.
