Virgin launches WiMAX in Russia

Virgin Group Ltd., an international conglomeration, is prepared to enter the Russian market. This week the company is to announce that the federal mobile operator Virgin using WiMAX technology is coming to 30 Russian cities.
      
      The service will be provided by operator Trivon established in 2004 and partially controlled by Virgin Group, a major shareholder.
      
      Virgin Group was founded in 1970 by Richard Branson. Virgin comprises of over 200 companies operating in different fields, from tourism to telecommunications in 29 countries all over the world.
