Russian scientists performed a journey to the Arctic, aimed at finding changes in organic and inorganic nature of the North, caused by global climate warming.
      
      Researchers found some positive moments in severe reduction of permafrost cover. First, Arctic shelf reveals its hydrocarbon treasures, which will be much easier to extract. Moreover, the Northern Sea Route will work all the year round, making oil transportation quite cheap.
      
      During last two years scientists registered huge increase of melting speed Arctic ice, which can be due to Earth’s global climate change. Permafrost cover has already lost 1.5 million square meters.
