First 5D Cinema to Open in Moscow

The first ever cinema equipped with 5D technologies will appear in Moscow in the nearest future. It will be situated inside the shopping-entertainment centre Mall of Russia of the Moscow international business-centre Moscow-City.

Supposedly, the cinema will have 9-11 halls. Visitors will be able to not only watch films: the 5D system will also transmit smells and movements creating the so-called “participation effect”. At the moment a number of cinemas with such features operate only in the USA.
