In April 2007 the regular flights Moscow-Karachi were halted due to a shortage of aircraft. Since April 1, 2008, A-310 planes start flying from Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow to Karachi via Dubai. Pakistan Airlines will fly to Moscow twice a week – on Tuesdays and Fridays, according to marketing director of the representative office of the air company in Moscow.
It is known that Pakistanis are going to offer the flight tickets at very moderate prices, reportedly much cheaper than any other air carriers offer.
