Russia may build first Egyptian nuclear power plants

The new agreement with Egypt may let Russian companies to take part in tender for the first Egyptian nuclear power plants.
      The Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak is taking a two day official visit to Moscow. During his visit Russia and Egypt are to sign a bilateral nuclear power cooperation deal which will let Russian companies to take part in tender for the first Egyptian nuclear power plants. This tender will be held this year. The building expenses will be about $1,5 -2 billion.
      Mr. Hosni Mubarak is to focus on Mideast conflicts as well.
      "There are big opportunities for expanding cooperation in the sphere of trade, investment, energy and tourism between our countries," Mr. Mubarak said.
