A Dutch energy company is to generate renewable energy in Kolsky peninsula.
North town Murmansk, interested in the potential of wind energy, has discussed the opportunity of using alternative energy with the Dutch company, which specializes in this sphere.
The research held by the Dutch company and the Kolsky Scientific Center has shown that the wind force on the peninsular is enough to generate at least 1000 MW of electricity. A 200 MW wind power electric station in the surroundings of a small town Tiriberka may become the first project between our countries.
