Nycomed, a European pharmaceutical company, plans to build a factory in Russia. The issue is at the stage of discussion at the moment. The project is preliminary estimated at 50 million Euros. The total capacity of the factory and its location have not been announced yet.
The decision to build a factory is in line with Nycomed’s strategy to expand its positions on the Russian market.
Nycomed has been operating in Russia and the CIS countries since 1993. The turnover of the company made up 367 million in Russia in 2007, which is 10% of the total sales of Nycomed.
