The consulting company Scott Wilson and Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow have signed a partnership agreement. According to the document, Scott Wilson will work out a master-plan for the international airport Sheremetyevo for the period up to 2030, taking into account the existent general plan of the airport and the plan of development of the 2nd summer zone at the airport with construction of the 3rd runway. The document will be presented by the end of 2008.
The master-plan is aimed at drafting a long-term perspective of the airport development and can become a means for attracting investments. It will contain variants of infrastructure development based on a passenger traffic prognosis and the available financial resources.
