Lukoil, the biggest private oil company in Russia, stopped oil supplies to Germany via Druzhba pipeline. The core reason for the stoppage of oil deliveries was oil price mismatch between the Russian and German parties.
Up to here Lukoil planned to supply about 520 thousand tons of oil to Germany,
The Russian company doesn’t break obligations to German consumers, since no long-term contracts on oil supplies to oil-processing plants of the country were signed, the representative of the company said.
Lukoil is expected to resume supplies in March, though the price question should be fixed first.
