Russian medics and researchers claim Solar activity has direct influence on birth defects.
      
      Scientists analyzed primary documentation of Belgorod’s medical institutions and found out that during period of Solar activity decrease more children with birth defects were born, especially with multiple developmental defects and defects of musculoskeletal system.
      
      Low Solar activity provokes diaphragmatic hernias and embryonal hernias, while high Solar activity causes anomalies of central nervous system and sense organs, face and neck, as well as anencephaly and harelip. Most strong links Solar activity has with birth defects of skin, face, neck, harelip and myelocele.
      
      Scientists still argue about mechanisms of such effects.
