Reading Train to Run in Moscow Underground

Reading Moscow Train painted with portraits of characters and excerpts from Russian and foreign classical literature will start running on Circle Line of Moscow Metro from May 2008.

According to Valeri Vinogradov, Deputy Mayor in Moscow Administration, the Reading Moscow Train created in the framework of the same-name project is aimed at cultivating love for reading in the city dwellers. There will be no adverts in the train, whereas each carriage will be in line with a particular literary subject matter.

In addition to that the carriages will be also provided with special boxes for booklets covering the latest book and magazine editions.
