Cultural Centre of Tarkovskys to Appear in Moscow

The Cultural Centre of Andrei and Arseni Tarkovskys will be founded in Zamoskvorechie, a historical district of Moscow.
The Centre is planned to be open at the address 26/1, I Shchipskovsky Lane, on the place of the city estate of the mid 19th century, where the family of Russian poet Arseni Tarkovski lived in a communal flat for over thirty years.
One of the buildings will locate the museum-apartment and an ultra-modern cultural and educational complex, with a cinemateque and a library, exhibition and conference halls, mini-theatre and so on.
The museum will also have something to offer: furniture of that epoch, personal belongings, books, letters and documents. Andrei Tarkovskys paraphernalia presently kept at Mosfilm Studio will be transferred to this museum as well.
