Moscow University to Abandon Animal Experiments

It's the first time Moscow higher educational institution will give up animal experiments. An agreement on this subject was signed by famous Timiryazev’s Academy zoology faculty and International Network for Humane Education (InterNICHE).
      
      According to this agreement, InterNICHE will provide Academy's zoology faculty with videotapes and software, which are intended to replace prosected animals, saving a lot of lives for animal kingdom representatives.
      
      Software and video films containing procedures of professional prosection will also help to avoid problems with students, who refuse to make preparations due to ethical reasons.
