Russian air carrier Aeroflot opens its own terminal at Sheremetyevo airport in Moscow in 2009, as the airline reported at a recent press-conference.
“Building works at the terminal will be finished by the end of the current year and in 2009 we put the terminal into operation”, deputy director general on strategic and economic development of Aeroflot says.
It is expected that in 2009 Aeroflot will carry around 10 million passengers. With the new terminal Sheremetyevo-3 this number may reach 12 million.
