Quick, a Belgian fast-food restaurant, performing as a competitor to McDonald’s, plans to open its first four cafes in Russia by April 2008 and about one hundred during the next 5 years, reports the Le Soir newspaper.
On the whole, the company is going to open up to 10 restaurants this year. To enter the Russian market Quick will set up a joint venture in cooperation with Russian Tashir Group comprising of over 30 different enterprises.
About 400 restaurants in France, Belgium, Luxemburg and Algeria work under the Quick brand-name.
