Energy issues to be discussed in Sofia between Bulgaria and Russia, transit oil and gas pipelines and an atomic power plant among them.
Today the Russian president arrives in Bulgaria with two-day official visit, accompanied by the first vice-president Dmitry Medvedev and a delegation of heads of Ministers and large energy companies.
The key economic topics to discuss are based on realization of big joint projects in energy sphere, that is the construction of Bulgarian atomic power plant Belene, Burgas-Alexandroupolis pipeline, Bulgarian’s joining the construction of the South Stream gas pipeline.
The Russian president is to open the Year of Russia in Bulgaria. Stars of Russian music are to participate at the opening ceremony.
