Moscow Bids Farewell to Gennady Bachinsky

The funeral of the popular TV and radio host Gennady Bachinsky who died in a traffic accident is taking place in Moscow today. He will be laid to rest at the Troyekurovskoe Cemetery.
      Gennady Bachinsky died on January 12 in a traffic accident in Tver Region. According to tentative data, it happened when he was trying to overtake another car in his Volkswagen Golf and went on the wrong side, where he bumped into a minibus.
      Gennady Bachinsky was born on September 1, 1971 in Yarovoe town of the Altai Territory. As a child he dreamt of becoming a clown, yet he got educated as a systems engineer, but eventually became the general producer of a radio station and a show business star. He performed at numerous concerts and appeared in cinema and on TV he seemed to have the energy for everything.
      He has left a widow and two children.
