Favourite of Public Aleksandr Abdulov Passed Away

The popular Russian theatre and film actor Aleksandr Abdulov has died today in a Moscow hospital.
      
      Painful illness, namely lung cancer, distressed the yet young actor Abdulov was only 54 in August 2007.
      
      The Peoples Artist of Russia Aleksandr Gavrilovich Abdulov was born on May 29, 1953 into a family of actors in Tobolsk. His father was a stage director of a theatre in Fergana and the boy first time took the stage at the age of five.
      
      
      Aleksandr Abdulov made his film debut when a student yet. However, the actor gained wide renown only after the role of the Bear in the television film Obyknovennoe Chudo (An Ordinary Miracle) directed by Mark Zakharov after the same-name play by Yevgeni Shvarts.
      
      Altogether the actor played in more than 120 films.
      
      Aleksandr Abdulov will be laid to rest on January 6, most probably at Vagankovskoe Cemetery.
