One of the most significant silent pictures and Sergei Eisenstein’s greatest work, The Battleship Potemkin, once subjected to ideological censorship, is finally available in its unabridged version that has been restored in Germany.
      
      According to representatives of the German Cultural Foundation, the film has been restored thanks to the initial film copy preserved in the British Film Institute.
      The all new restoration of Battleship Potemkin will premiere at the end of January.
