Sukhoi Superjet 100 Fails to Take Off in 2007

Flight tests of the Russian short-haul aircraft Sukhoi Superjet 100 have been postponed till 2008. Earlier it had been announced that the first flight of the liner was expected to take place at the end of 2007.
      
      According to representatives of the Sukhoi Superjet 100 company-developer, changes in the programme of the aircraft preparation for the flight are within normal industrial limits now. However, the representatives do not give any exact dates of the aircraft’s first flight. If believe the preliminary data, it is most likely to take place in February or spring of 2008. The company also does not give any official reason of the first flight delay.
