On December 23 the major Russian New Years wizard Ded Moroz (Father Frost) will arrive in St. Petersburg and bring The Fire of Olympic Hopes with him in the framework of his New Year tour.
      
      Ded Moroz is also going to visit Sochi and light up the central fir-tree set up in Arts Square in the heart of the city.
      The intensive schedule of Father Frost, who is to leave his official residence in Veliki Ustyug for his journey, also includes his visiting of Krasnaya Polyana and Krasnodar.
      
      There is an idea to use the image of the New Years wizard as one of the symbols of the coming Olympic Games, since Father Frost is the symbol of Russian winter and hospitality.
